Mahbubul Hasan Faisal

Mahbubul Hasan Faisal got to know about garments at very tender of his age. At 1997, only when Honors 1st year is over, he started to work as trainee Merchandiser & Marketing Officer. He spent his days & nights to work & learn more, and started to work as Merchandiser & Marketing Officer within 6 months. He learned & worked for Knit Garments & then he was transferred to Woven Unit of Radiance Group. After completing his degree at B.A. (honors) in Bangla Language & Literature from Jahangirnagar University, he had opportunity to work at several factories & Buying Houses in Dhaka. Silk Route Design Ltd. – BD Team Leader, Knit Division,
C & K (Canada & Korea Joint Venture) – Team Leader, Woven Division, then transferred to Knit Division.

These position allowed him to establish connections with numerous buying houses and buyers. By 2003, he started a very small Screen Printing factory with 3 of his friends. That printing factory is still running with it’s extended capacity & quality. It is a 9,800 sft floor with 8 Glass & rexin Tables – 80 feet of each, 9 numbers of Heat Press Machines with Double Plates, Belt Curing Machine & a big size Foil Printing Machine. These position allowed him to establish connections with numerous buying houses and buyers. By 2003, he started a very small Screen Printing factory with 3 of his friends. That printing factory is still running with it’s extended capacity & quality. It is a 9,800 sft floor with 8 Glass & rexin Tables – 80 feet of each, 9 numbers of Heat Press Machines with Double Plates, Belt Curing Machine & a big size Foil Printing Machine. At 2006, He started to establish a garment factory with 48 sewing machines only, without Cutting & Finishing Section; with 5 of his partners. Its’s name was Matrix Styles Ltd. The factory started it’s production at end of 2006 & started exporting at 2007. With it’s ongoing production & export, he added finishing Section, cutting section & few more machine, day by day. He is still manufacturing garments & exporting them to several countries at Europe, USA & many other countries at other continent, as Matrix Dresses Ltd.

Shahidur Rahman ( Mintoo )

Shahidur Rahman possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the garment trade.

After completing his degree in B.Com, he joined Royal Garments in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, in 1982 as an Assistant Manager. In 1983, he was promoted to Trainee Production Manager, and his role expanded to include Marketing. This position allowed him to establish connections with numerous buying houses and buyers. By 1984, he had been promoted to Production and Marketing Manager within the same company.

In 1985 and 1986, Shahidur served as General Manager at Russel Garments in Narayanganj. The following year, he worked as General Manager at Urmi and Goldcity Garments in Tejgaon.

In 1988, he joined the USA-based buying house Continental Import & Exports as Manager of Merchandising. This role enabled him to work directly with foreign customers and garment factories, gaining substantial knowledge and experience with various suppliers and factories, including knit, woven and sweater manufacturers.

In 1990, Shahidur started his own buying business, Shithi Enterprise. In 2000, he co-founded another buying house, Attire Styles Ltd., which quickly grew into a strong and well-known company in Dhaka.

In 2024, Shahidur, along with Mr. Mahbubul Hasan Faisal, launched a new buying house named, Matrix Apparel.
